AntScribe is a daily work journal application operated by DevJoy Studio LLC. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address. This is the only personal information required to use AntScribe. You may optionally set a password for traditional login, or use our passwordless magic link authentication.

Journal Content

The journal entries, projects, and notes you create are stored securely in our database. This content is yours and is only accessible to you when logged in.

Security Logs

We log your IP address during authentication events (login, registration, password changes) for security and fraud prevention purposes. These logs are not stored in your account data and are rotated periodically.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the application to function:

• A session cookie to keep you logged in
• A CSRF token cookie for security

We do not use any tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate AntScribe:

• Stripe — for payment processing. When you subscribe, your payment information is handled directly by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• SenderNet — for transactional email delivery (account confirmation, magic links). Only your email address is shared with this service for the purpose of delivering emails you requested.

Data Retention

Your account data and journal content are retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed from our systems.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
